Why so serious?

Jamie and I saw The Dark Knight last night. Excellent, excellent movie! I thought it was better than Batman Begins and that was a great flick. Heath Ledger was phenomenal, and haunting, as the Joker. I haven't seen Iron Man, so I can't compare it to that, but for me this blew Indiana Jones out of the water. Dad, if you haven't seen it by the time you come to Utah next month, I'll let you treat me to it.

It did deserve its PG-13 rating (not like Superman Returns - totally a PG movie with a PG-13 rating). It was very intense throughout and although there was little or no graphically portrayed violence (the Bourne movies were more violent than this), there were a few people getting shot at close range - but no blood- and other acts of implied harsh violence . Also, the tone of the movie is fairly dark. I would not recommend taking the kids. Brandon is disappointed that he can't see it, but those are the breaks.

Hey!We just saw this last night at the Imax because I guess it was filmed for it so there are 6 extra scenes?Couldn't tell you what they are but we loved it!I agree, definitely not a kid movie. There were 2 families there last night with a BABY, it made me so sick.I may have mentioned a 'parent of the year award' while passing....and you MUST see Ironman its SWEET.Not much going on here, my mom and dad are out of the country AGAIN, and Cindy leaves for college in about 3 weeks, which would mean she gets to move out before US, LAME
